2: (Dekh keh kashmir mein) bahar ke mausam ki hawa musalsal jhonkon ki surat mein chal rahi hai,
bahar ke mausam mein naghma sarai karne wale parinde garoh dar garoh (nazar arahe) hain aur dekh keh anaar ke darakhton par fakhta aur meena (jese parinde) jore jore (ho kar) baithay hain.
3: Dekh keh nastran ke phoolon ke burqay ne zameen ke chehre ko is liye chupa liya hai keh fitne paida karne wale aasman ki nazar kahin us ke husn-o-jamal par na par jaye.
4: Dekh ke lala ke phool khaak se nikle aur nadi mein lehar josh marne lagi. Tou (lala ke phoolon ki surat mein) zameen par bikhri hoi chingrariyan hi chingariyan dekh aur (nadi mein pani ki) mooj dar mood (uthti hoi) lehron ka nazara kar.
5: Tou saaz ke taron ko mazrab se chair aur (sharab peene ke) bare payale mein sharab undail (aur phir) dekh keh bahar ka qafla mehfil mehfil (har jagah mojood) hai.
6: Tou aik nazar (Kashmiri) brahmin ki beti ke chehre ki taraf dekh jo lala ke phool ki tarah surkh hai aur jis ka badan chameli ke phool ki tarah (safaid aur naram-o-nazuk hai). Phir tou (us ke husn ko dekh kar) apne aap ko dekh (keh tere dil ki kya kefiyat hai?)
